Anne Olfato-Parojinog, M.Sc.

Anne Olfato-Parojinog is a current PhD student under the Nanyang Technological University Scholarship program. She is an environmental scientist working in plant functional ecology, with a strong focus on how vegetation behaves and adapts within urban ecosystems across Southeast Asia. Her research dives into the complex dynamics of cities as living ecological systems—how plants respond to heat, pollution, land-use change, and fragmented green spaces. By linking urban ecology, plant traits, and ecosystem processes, she helps unpack how biodiversity and function persist (or shift) in highly modified landscapes.
